Who We Are
The Association of Secondary School Headteachers of Uganda (ASSHU) is a professional member association bringing together secondary school leaders across Uganda. ASSHU provides a platform for headteachers to unite, share experiences, strengthen professional capacity, and collectively contribute to the advancement of education and school leadership.
Our Purpose
ASSHU exists to promote effective, professional, and transformative leadership in secondary schools. Through collaboration, capacity building, advocacy, knowledge sharing, and professional development, the association supports school leaders to respond to the evolving needs of learners, teachers, schools, and the wider education sector.
